New JerseyNew Jersey is a state in the northeastern and middle Atlantic region of the United States. The state is popularly nicknamed "The Garden State", although it appears that nobody is 100% sure about the origins of the name. New Jersey's largest city is Newark, but the state capital is located in Trenton.
