IdahoIdaho is a state in the Northwest of the contiguous United States. Idaho is known for mountaineous terrain and natural resources, and its agricultural products, but recent years have seen substantial growth in the state's technology sector, which now produces over 25% of the state's revenue. The capital and largest city in the state, is Boise which has a population of just under 200,000 in the city itself, but comfortably over half a million if you count the surrounding metropolitan area. Some of Idaho's other larger cities include Idaho Falls, Meridian, Nampa and Pocatello. Perhaps the most famous tourist attraction in Idaho is Yellowstone National Park (parts of which also fall into Montana and Wyoming). If you get a chance, you'll also want to check out the Craters of the Moon near Arco and the Shoshone Ice Caves which are in Shoshone. Perhaps the most famous educational institution in Idaho is the University of Idaho which is in Moscow Some of the major companies that have based their headquarters in Idaho are Albertson's and J. R. Simplot Company, both of which are in Boise. Probably the best-known professional sports team in Idaho is the Boise Hawks (Northwest League baseball) who are based in Boise. Here are some pages with more details of Idaho:
