Grave Creek Mount Archaeology Complex
Grave Creek Mount Archaeology Complex is the site of the largest Adena (Native American)
Burial Mound, which is made from over 60,000 tons of earth, and is 2,000
years old. The complex also contains the DElf Norona Museum which
contains exhibits and artifacts demonstrating the lifestyle of the Adena
people. The Complex is located
in Moundsville,
West Virginia.
