CincinnatiCincinnati is a city that lies on the Ohio River, in Hamilton County, Ohio. As of 2005, the city's population was estimated at 331,310. The city is named after Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, a Roman general who saved his city, then retired from power to his farm. Many people considered George Washington as a latter-day Cincinnatus, and indeed Washington not only referred to Cincinnatus when he withdrew from politics, but also was the first President-General of the Society of the Cincinnati.
